CorelDRAW Designer – Laser & Production Files

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced CorelDRAW Designer who can prepare accurate production-ready files for Laser Cutting and Marquetry work.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare laser cutting files in CorelDRAW

- Convert artwork/designs into clean and accurate vector files

- Create and modify nodes, curves, outlines and closed shapes

- Correct overlapping lines, open nodes and other cutting-file errors

- Prepare proper nesting/layouts to minimize material wastage

- Understand dimensions, scale and production drawings

- Make corrections in existing CorelDRAW files as per production requirements

- Prepare complex patterns/designs for wood veneer and marquetry

- Coordinate with laser machine operators and production team

- Ensure files are completely production-ready before cutting

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of CorelDRAW

- Good understanding of vector tracing and vector editing

- Experience in preparing files for Laser Cutting / CNC / Router / Signage / Woodworking

- Knowledge of CDR, DXF, AI and PDF file formats

- Good understanding of measurements, dimensions and scale

- Ability to handle detailed and complex artwork

- Strong knowledge of production-file preparation

This is not a social media or general graphic-design position. We require a designer with practical knowledge of preparing accurate files for laser cutting and production.

Candidates from Laser Cutting, CNC Router, Signage, Furniture, Woodworking, Marquetry or similar manufacturing industries will be preferred.

Experience: Minimum 3 Years – 6+ Years
